Communion:  Our worship service this evening will be preparatory to our celebrating the Lord’s Supper next week Sunday.  Any visitors who desire to partake of the sacrament with us must receive permission from the consistory to do so.  To receive such permission, please contact the clerk.

The Young People will meet after the morning service. 

Catechism:  Grades 1-7 Lesson 19; Grades 8 & 9 Lord’s Day 19; Grades 10 & 11 Essentials Lesson and Worksheet on Providence; Grades 12 & up Belgic Confession Article 24, Sanctification.  Parents, please remember it is your responsibility to let the Pastor or Elders know if your child is unable to attend a Catechism class, whether they be sick, there is an emergency, or for some other reason.

Men’s Society will meet at 6:45 on Monday evening.  We will begin our study at John 10:19.

Ladies Bible:  We welcome all ladies to join us for our next Bible study meeting on Wednesday, February 1 at 9:30 AM.  We will be studying Lydia (Acts 16:9-15 and 40.).  Servers are Heather Buiter, Mary Oosterbaan, and Ellen Kamminga.  Nursery helper is Amy VanTil.  Little Lambs helper/ snack provider is Rachel Bleyenberg.

The Deacons will meet this Wednesday, February 1 at 7 PM.

Our Monthly Song Service will be held next Sunday before the evening worship service.  Mike Elzinga will lead us in songs of praise.

The Children's Activity snow-tubing outing to Pando has been changed from February 10 to February 17.  Please note the new date.  Times remain the same.  The sub sandwich orders are still due on the 10th.  If you have any questions please call Ronda Slendebroek.  Thanks!

Sliding Party:  Please reserve Saturday, February 18 for our annual sliding party at Byron Center Christian Middle School at 3 PM.  Dinner will follow at Adams Christian School at 5:30.  There is a sign-up sheet in the fellowship room.  In the event of no snow, open gym and games will be at Adams starting at 4 PM.

Men: Do you struggle trying to balance the demands on your time as a Christian man? A sectional at the Men’s Conference held at our church on March 8 and 9 will explore the difficulties and give ideas for biblical solutions to help us balance our priorities of Church, family, work and recreation. Please send in your registration form today. Deadline for registration is February 20.  Forms can be found by the mailboxes or at www.byronprc.org.

Ruth Lubbers was admitted to Spectrum Hospital last week Sunday night for tests and observation.  She was able to return home Tuesday afternoon and is doing well.  We would like to thank Ruth for her many years of musical accompaniment of praises to our great God.

 Dear Congregation, we would like to thank our Pastor, Rev. Spriensma, the Elders and you our fellow church members, for all the Christian love shown to us during Cindy’s back problems.  The prayers, cards, food, and warm wishes were deeply appreciated.  Dale & Cindy Bartelds

Colorado Spring Retreat: Registration for the CO Young Adults Spring Retreat ends January 31!  Lord willing, the retreat will be held March 12-15 at the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park, CO.  Pastors Key and Spronk will speak on the theme "Are You Healthy?"  Young adults of the age post-high through 30 are welcome to register by clicking on “Coming Events” at www.prca.org.  Registration is limited to 40 young adults.

Adams Mothers Club will meet this week Thursday, February 2 at 8 PM.  New members are welcome.

Heritage Christian School’s All School Program entitled “The Armor of God” will be held this Thursday, February 2 at 7 PM at Fair Haven Ministries in Hudsonville. You are invited to hear our children as they thank God for His love and care.

Festival of Tables:  Reserve March 24 at 10 AM for a time of fellowship.  A delicious brunch will be served at themed tables, each uniquely decorated.  Contact Pam Hoekstra (896-8240 or phoeks@sbcglobal.net) or Cara Dykstra (895-0121 or dykstra4@allcom.net) to reserve your spot.  Cost is $10/seat or $80/table and hostesses/decorators are needed.  Funds raised are for the Hudsonville PRC Catering Committee.  The deadline to call is February 13.

Grace PRC Young People’s invite you to A Night of Music. The event will be held on Saturday, February 25 at 7:00 PM at Grace PR Church. Come out for a fun-filled night of music. The program features performers such as: Michelle Pipe, Jim Daling, Dan Van Dyke, Eric & Crista Phelps, a string quartet, as well as other talented musicians. A freewill offering will be taken to help defray the costs of the convention.
