Our congregation was organized in 1983 by a group of 24 families from the Byron Center area. Since that time we have grown to over 100 families. Our church belongs to the denomination of the Protestant Reformed Churches of North America with congregations in Canada and across the U.S.A. and supporting mission work around the world.
We have our roots in the great Reformation of the 16th century when the church was freed from the bondage of man's tradition.
What We Believe
The Bible is the holy Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit and without error. (2 Timothy 3:16,17 ) We believe in the absolute sovereignty of God's grace to save His people in the precious blood of Christ. We hold firmly the truth of God's Word which is accurately summarized in our confessions and creeds:
We believe worship is holy conversation between God and His people in Christ. We seek to worship God in the way He has commanded us in His Word. Our liturgy emphasizes the preaching of the Word of God, which is the chief means of grace. Our sermons are based on the exegesis of the King James version of the Bible. The versification of the Psalms is used for singing in our worship services.
